To repeat one particular bit of news that’s been playing over and over like a broken record since the modern Mini first made its appearance Stateside back in 2001 – there’s little if any chance that the U.S. market will be blessed with an oil-burning Mini Cooper any time soon. 
Imagine a Mini Cooper with a Rolls-Royce trimmed interior? According to AutoCar, that’s exactly what BMW is considering offering those willing to pay the price. The German automaker is planning to introduce a high-end Mini that will be re-trimmed by Rolls-Royce if the project is given the green light.
